Beaded jewelry - Beaded chain to the pendant

Today we’ll find how to make beaded chain for pendant or something like pendant.

In the previous tutorial we made big beaded bead and we need to hang it on something. There are many variants, but I want to suggest one of them.

The chain is rather simple, but to my mind it’s very nice.

As you see, the chain consists of three parts and each part consists of another three strings. Let’s see how to make one of these parts of beaded chain.

So, string random amount of beads from the both sides of the pendant. I have strings of 40 beads. Each string ends with one bead, one big-big bead and one bead. This will be  the space between our parts of beaded chain. Of course you can create!

Let’s string two strings from the both sides of pendant.

Than again string 40 beads. See the picture:

Now it’ll be the most interesting. Let’s braid with the last bead string another two bead strings, i.e. make a braid. I think picture are more understandable, than words.

As result we  get such nice beaded chain.

Let’s do the same with the chain from another side of the pendant.

So, we have two parts of the beaded chain.

Than we make another parts of beaded chain of necessary length.  It can consist of 6 parts or less or more. Parts can be longer or shorter, as you like. Than make a clasp (some clasps tutorial you can find here and here) and that’s all.
